About the role:

We currently have a vacancy for a Technical Sales Person, reporting directly to the Sales Manager and Managing Director.

This is a multi-faceted role; you will be responsible for the sale of the Arrow range of products giving technical and sales support to Distributors and end users and to perform any other duties as and when required.

You will be expected to acquire and maintain complete knowledge concerning the Company’s range of products and services and to apply this knowledge in relation to customers’ requirements and enquiries.

To keep up to date with changes in the technology and development of our industry which in turn contributes to the company’s success.

There are opportunities for travel throughout the UK and globally attending exhibitions, race events and client visits.

Responsibilities:

  • The preparation of technical quotations and the provision of technical advice to our customers via telephone or Email.
  • The provision of technical support to all Distributors and end users.
  • To effectively liaise with our manufacturing and warehouse staff on the subjects of lead time and delivery arrangements.
  • Contribution towards and maintenance of the company’s website and social media accounts
  • Working to ISO 9001:2015 Quality and Management Systems and promoting Continuous Improvements.
  • As a part of your day-to-day activities, you should carry out research to maintain your understanding of:
    • Competitor activity
    • Levels of customer business activity
    • Knowledge of the Arrow and competitor products
  • Aspects of the job may involve duties outside the normal hours of work, this is considered to be part of your contract.

What we are looking for:

  • A passionate individual with an interest in Engineering and Motorsport.
  • Previous experience of technical sales in a mechanical biased engineering environment, preferably Automotive or Motorsport
  • GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Maths.
